I checked the website.  Looks like the new checklist (5th editions) is not yet available for order at Nature Kenya.  Only the 4th edition is listed on the website.  Some folks might, by mistake, purchase the old checklist.

The revised 5th Edition of the Checklist of the Birds of Kenya has just been published! It is available from the Nature Kenya Shop at the museum at Ksh 200 per copy. This edition of the Checklist of the Birds of Kenya has six tick boxes for every species – making it more useful for field trips.  Secondly it brings you up to speed on the new family arrangement and order currently being followed in all the four major world checklists. It also cross references you to the English name in the 2009 Checklist, where a new English name is now being used.
