Greetings birders

Nature Kenya’s Wednesday Morning Birdwalk spent a delightful morning in the cool of Karura Forest today 27 March, thanks to Friends of Karura Forest. Highlights included:

White-backed Duck with large young
Crowned Eagles (a pair) calling loudly and chasing away another raptor
Eurasian Nightjar perched high in a tree
Eurasian Bee-eater flock over the swamp as usual
Willow Warbler - many
Common Whitethroat - one
Tree Pipit - two pairs
