Subject: 1000 Pentads achieved on the KBM! Happy New Year!

Dear all,

At exactly 11.59pm on the 31st of Dec 2018, Paul Wachira submitted the card that marked the 1000th pentad mapped for Kenya!! This means we achieved our goal of getting to 1000 pentads by the end of 2018, literally at the very end of 2018! A great achievement that was only made possible by the amazing efforts of the atlassers! 2 weeks ago we had 25 pentads to go to get to 1000 and the challenge seemed almost impossible to overcome, but we pulled it off! Congratulations to all Kenya Bird Mappers! Happy New Year!!!

May you have some great birding and atlassing 2019!
