Interestingly I have also seen a lesser moorhen was in Nbi National Park. It was in a small pond in one of the vleis near the bomas/galleria end of the Park.

In Nairobi National Park with Jennifer Oduori and Samira Khan on November
12, we saw a Lesser Moorhen at Karen Primary School Dam. Yesterday 3
December there were TWO Lesser Moorhens on this dam!

Meanwhile Tom Butynski saw a Lesser Moorhen on Lolldaiga Hills Ranch in
Laikipia last week.
