Hi Paul,

The flycatcher is a Spotted Flycatcher. Note the streaked on the head.

All the best

Hi to everyone.am still in the field mostly this time of the year collecting data and the study on the Abyssinian Owl both in the south and Northern side of Mt Kenya.though tricky and difficult using trap cameras on owls with 1million photo receptors and high hearing abilities and  in analyzing pellets through us and our experts( they take time andwe do not have secondary data for comparison or approvals),but however we are optimistic to be through with either DNA analysis within the course of the year.in research you cannot just prove a species by just some field photos. will keep everyone updated soon through my projects assistance's and field work supervisors when these developments are through.
Below is a photo image from a hand camera a distance of 500m away, of a bird which i suspect to be a flycatcher?to be honest i don't take much of details to little birds while in the field and in terrain with buffaloes demanding right of way.this photo could have been taken in Naivasha last week.but a similar 1photo from south Mt Kenya lower side.
                   happy birding everyone.

         thanks paul
