Subject: Migrants and more in Ngong Road Forest

Hallo all.

Today we had 3 sightings of Red-backed Shrikes in Ngong Road Forest. The southern migrants are surely in Nairobi.

Several Willow Warblers seen.
One Steppe Buzzard.
One Lesser Grey Shrike too.

Further, we witnessed a good battle between an Ayres's Hawk-Eagle and a pair of roosting Verreaux's Eagle-Owls.

The resident African Fish Eagles are still around; and last week we saw a subadult too. They should be nesting in the forest.

Happy birding.
