Subject: Ethiopian Swallow on the Kenya coast.

Hi all

I'm trying to get to grips with this bird in NE Tanzania, I'm not yet convinced it exists with us.

So. How common is it south of Mombasa ? and how many breeding records are there for this area ? and how close does it breed to the TZ border ?

My only obs of this bird in Kenya was way back in Nov 86 at the Vasco de Gama site in Malindi.

What's its status between Malindi and Mombasa ? does it need cliffs to breed on ?

thanks all.

Neil
