Hello Birders,
I was over at Wajee camp over the weekend courtesy of Kenya Bird map. We had a great birding session with Robert Muchunu, the manager at Wajee and we were lucky to see this Hinde's babbler with colour rings (see photo).
Hopefully the ringer is in this group and can provide us with some background info on the bird!
We also had an all white Hinde's babbler that was either an albino or a white morph but I was unable to take a photo. Many other interesting species as well (African Hill Babbler, Lemon Dove among others)
For those who have not been to Wajee, it is a great place for birding and Robert is a great guide. Definitely worth a visit but expect to climb up and down the hills especially if looking for the Hinde's Babbler.
Best,
Martin
