A great find, Doris!

Brian, Jonathan Mwachongo reported a Spotted Ground Thrush in Arabuko-Sokoke forest on October 25 last year. He notes that another guide, Johnson Kafulo, had seen them since September (2015).

Coast birders, what about this year?

had many records after September, but worse is that I don't think
there has been a Kenyan record this entire wintering period. Like the
Pitta it's a bird we never expect now even though we still have plenty
of habitat for both. Do you ever get any records of SGT now, north of
