Subject: Nairobi migrants
Greetings birders
Nairobi is a palette of colours with flowering trees right now, and
migratory birds are arriving:
At the National Museums of Kenya grounds Oct 18, Eurasian Wryneck ringed by
the Nairobi Ringing Group.
In City Park on Oct 26: Common (Steppe) Buzzard, Eurasian Bee-eaters,
Spotted Flycatchers, Isabelline (Red-tailed) Shrike.
In the Nairobi Arboretum on Oct 29: Grey Wagtail along the river.
And in my upper hill garden today, an immature Amur Falcon with red feet!
Wishing you good birding, Fleur
