Red-necked Phalaraope was seen on a wetland bird count on Malindi Salt pans several year ago by myself and Colin Jackson and others.  Maybe recorded after the publishing of the more recent bird books.  A dead one was picked up on Vipingo Beach Xmas 2014 by a friend living up there.
