Hi Jonathan,

The bird of prey you saw is a Augur Buzzard. The Black-chested Snake-Eagle has black bars across the tail and flight feathers.

Are you a member of Nature Kenya.

Happy birding

Shailesh

Today i had a bird of prey which i quickly shouted to be Black Chested Snake Eagle on flight, but what confused me is the tail was round and reddish in color like Augur Buzzard, the belly is white and the neck/ chest and head was black.
