Two years ago we saw one W.R.Egret several times at Manguo ponds near Limuru over a period of 3months or so.

Hi Sammy,

WRH are seen infrequently along the Rift Valley lakes and when I used to live in Kenya there were records coming mainly from Nakuru and Turkana. I'm not sure of any previous Naivasha records though...

Hi Birders

While on a Birding safari last week in Naivasha i saw an egret which

at first i thought was a Dimorphic egret but the heavy decurved bill pointed

out to Western reef egret my first sighting of this bird in the Rift valley Lakes.

Anyone with other records of this bird inland?

Happy Birding

Sammy
