I'm not sure how noteworthy this is but i mention it only because I have not yet had a chance of running into one of these guys.
While backpacking and climbing up near Dragon's teeth in the northern Aberdares I flushed a flufftail twice. I had no binoculars but he flew right in front of me and I was able to clearly see his red tail. I assume that this most likely means that he was a Striped.
