Dear Sammy,

Fantastic shot!!

Do you think this could be an African Goshawk? It has a lot of features that point towards the male of this species. Do you see them around there?

Very best

Callan

Dear Birders
After a heavy down pour the night of 9th Nov 2015 the day started off with
a clear blue sky and while strolling just out of my house camera in hand,i heard
this alarm call from various birds and knowing there must be a raptor around i was
ready and looking out 20 metres from me this beautiful Sparrowhawk gave me some
split seconds to click away some nice shots before flying off.

Happy Birding
Sammy
