Dear birders,

We will be celebrating World Elephant Day on Saturday August 9th at Brookhouse School and we would love to have Kenya Birders and friends on board as partners in this celebration. 

The day will involve films, discussions, quizzes, music and other entertainments and other events to celebrate elephants, raise awareness and talk about the challenges that we are facing. We are open to any ideas!

The events will take place on the Brookouse sports fields as well in the auditorium.

Brookhouse has kindly given us the venue for free (value is Ksh 150,000) although we will have to  pay for security, multimedia assistants, refreshments and clean up services.

There are several ways that you can participate

1. Sponsor - with cash towards the cost of security etc

2. Have a stand for your organization with free give aways or sales

3. Reach out to your community of supporters to attend the event - it will be free

4. Make a speech or be on a panel discussion 

5. Lead an activity 

We are developing the program at the moment and would like to know how you would like to get involved.
