Dear all,

This is an issue that is mind bobbling and very painful. I remember working on meadow birds conservation in The Netherlands and receiving 'recaptures' of ring numbers from southern Europe where the birds (Lapwing and Black-tailed Godwit) were slaughtered...

Today living in Kenya I a wondering what we can do to conserve 'our' birds that use the Eastern fly-way. Are there existing projects focused on the Eastern EU - Middle East - East Africa route? Suggestions for research and conservation initiatives are welcome. I am highly motivated to work on addressing this serious issue!

Warm regards,

Dear Mohamed,
Thanks so much for sending this in, and thank you Chris Packham for
taking up the cause, and bringing this horror to public attention.

Everyone in East Africa with resposible outrage should see this and
not turn a blind eye, but take an active role in protesting no matter
how insignificant you feel your voice may be, in trying to bring an
end to these mass murdering nations. Watch Chris Packham's video, and
see how the people of Malta are themselves sickened by what takes
place,

Best for now
Brian
