Hello Birders.

During the the Easter weekend went to amboseli national park and decided to walk behind Amboseli Serena. The area has lot of black cotton soil and volcanic black rocks with few scattered balanites trees. My finding were: Heuglin's,Temminck's Courser and, Capped Wheatear, Pygmy and peregrine Falcon( Imm), Red-backed Shrike and Lesser-Grey Shrike,Long-tailed Fiscal, Taita Fiscal, Rosy-Patched Bush- Shrike, Hildebrandt's, Superb and  Wattled starlings, Spotted Morning Thrush, Crimson-rumped  and Common Waxbill, Southern Red Bishop, Lesser masked and Chestnut Weaver, Chestnut Sparrow, Beautiful(melanogastra) and Scarlet-chested Sunbird, among the birds that i saw was nightjar that i could not be able to positively identify for was not well spotted.

Within the Park: Many kittlitiz's plover along the game-drives roads, Collared Pranticole, White Storks,Water Thick-knee,Tawny and Black-Chested snake-eagle, African Fish eagle. Two-banded courser.

Wish you all a good birding April.
