Hi everyone,
On 1st April 2014 (yesterday at about 11am) I saw a flock of 17 Amurs overflying Sangailu in north eastern Kenya (about 40km to the crossing point into Somalia) heading NEast/East. Today (02/04/2014) morning starting 0716, I counted 57 loosely associated birds (challenging as they were mingled with way more European Rollers) heading east. Some were perched in groups of between 2 and 5 by the road between Ijara and Sangailu. The roughly central coordinates of these observations on the road are S01°40.595¢ E040°06.930'. Attached are a few images of these.
Humble regards
Martin
