Yes, I'm really pushing my luck with this one but I'm wondering if by some minor miracle someone has been fortunate enough to encounter this bird in NW Kenya, N Uganda, SE Sudan or S Ethiopia (i.e. the core range of the race archeri, or Archer's Francolin) and capture an image?
This is another potential split and, reading between the lines online, I gather that some work is already underway on the DNA front.
Many thanks in advance for any images or information.
