I  Have tried to ascertain the derivation of the title Baglafecht , without an apostrophe

The species has from time to time been called

1 Emin’s Weaver after Emin Pasha  [ a german !]

2  Reichenow’s Weaver  after Dr Anton Reichenow

3  Stuhlman’s Weaver after  Dr  Franz Stuhlman

The scientific name of each has Baglafecht in the title

I did post it on bird forum and the only  comment was that  it might have come from some French name  Le Baglafecht by Buffon

Any one any ideas ?
