Hi Shailesh,

Many thanks for your kind words and I really hope you enjoy the book. We were expecting the first copies to be shipped at the end of October so I'm thrilled to hear that copies are now being released.

I'm waiting for our University Press contact to return from the Frankfurt Book Fair so that we can organise copies for sale via the Nature Kenya office and other local outlets. As soon as we know when we can expect them in Kenya, I'll post a note on the Kenyabirdsnet.

Vicki and I have co-written an accompanying guide to the Mammals & Reptiles of the Masai Mara as well (titled "Animals of the Masai Mara" for simplicity) which should be available at the same time. Princeton University Press have done a nice job promoting the books via their blog where a preview can be viewed by cut-and-pasting the following link;

Cheers for now,
Adam

I would like to congratulate Adam Scott Kennedy for the wonderful book he did on Birds of the Masai Mara.

I have attached a photo of the front cover of the book.
