Subject: One new monkey and four new bats for Africa

Hi John,

A few others already sent a notice to me that this article has finally been published.  Good news seems to travel fast these days.  It is exceptional.  Great discovery....and an extremely thorough job of documenting and describing this discovery.  Most interesting article that I have seen in a long time!

Here, attached, is another discovery that I learned about today.

Africa continues to surprise and to amaze.

Congratulations and all best wishes...and hi to Terese.

THank you Tom for this link....

I'm taking advantage of your full-some CC list to let everyone know of the publication in PLoS ONE of Congo's new, endemic guenon, the lesula, Cercopithecus lomamiensis

More pictures, including some first camera trap photos on Terese's blog,

News is not always good from Congo these days, but this discovery is a point of light.

Best wishes, and hope to see some of you at POAC in Arusha next month.

John

FYI.

This looks like an extremely useful site....especially for those who do not have access to a good electronic library.
