On 7th August Nigel Hunter and myself went into Nairobi National Park. We examined Ivory Burning Site, Hyena Dam, Nagalomon Dam, Kingfisher, Athi Dam and Cheetah Gate. It seemed a quiet day, but on tallying up what we had recorded we were surprised that it had exceeded 160 species.
