Uhuru Gardens still surprises
Greetings birders
Uhuru Gardens National Monument on Langata Road continues to deliver surprises.
This time, on a cold, grey, drizzly morning, Nature Kenya’s Wednesday Morning Birdwalk saw a White-headed Saw-wing, only the second that I’ve seen within Nairobi city limits.
There was also a wide variety of grassland, acacia woodland and other birds, including begging juveniles of White-bellied Tits, Cape Robin Chat, Speke’s Weaver and White-winged Widowbirds.
Wishing you good birding, Fleur
