Subject: PHOWN workshops & ringing in Kenya
Hi all
Kenya has the over 60 weaver species - the most for any country. I
visited Kenya for a week to present PHOWN (*) workshops (in Nairobi
and also Watamu on the coast).
I joined ringing in both areas, as well as going on Fleur's famous bird walk!

(*) PHOWN is a citizen science project of the Animal Demography Unit,
to collect and monitor breeding distributions and colony sizes of
weaver birds globally.
