Hi Adam,

Female sunbirds can be difficult to ID in the field. Scalet-chested Sunbird female lacks supercilium so it can't be and female Bronze the supercilium is long narrow pale. From the photo you took i think it is a female Amethyst.

Hi all,

This sunbird is causing some controversy between a friend and I.

Bronze or Scarlet-chested is our debate (or Amethyst, perhaps?), and WHY???

All comments welcome ASAP!

Many thanks,
Adam
