A brief message for Brian Finch , now on safari at the coast , his first since November , . He has just seen over 100 Violet-breasted Sunbirds in Combretum at Sabaki  river mouth !

Reading his very detailed report of our Western trip , what was quite amazing was that we saw not one Lark !  Lots of Starlings though .

Also very pleasing to see more varieties of monkeys [ De Brazza,Colobus, Blue,Patas  ,Vervet ] and also several  Duikers including the Black-fronted , which was very photogenic ]
