Dear all,

 

Johan and I went yesterday to Nairobi National Park. The weather was cloudly and cold.

 

Highlights :

 

3 Common Buttonquail on the main road to Hyena dam

 

The Eurasian Roller is still in the park near Karen dam

 

Athi dam provides 1 Common Sandpiper and 5 Wood Sandpiper

 

Hyena dam provides Common and Lesser Moorhen and the Madagascar Pond Heron

 

We finally got a good view of three wonderful striped Hyena near Karen dam.

 

A single Eurasian Hoopoe feeding next to an African Hoopoe near Athi dam.

 

The White-backed Night-Heron apparently left his place at Hippo pool.
