Subject: Slender-tailed Nightjar at Naibor this morning

Offering all of our staff a bounty of 500 bob for every live nightjar found in camp paid off this morning when one of our Naibor askari ran the length of camp to find me and take me to his find - a fine male Slender-tailed Nightjar seen on the deck and several times in flight. A smart bird and my first seen (and photographed) in camp.
