Thank you for your report on the bird species seen at the pot-luck outing at Masai lodge. A Broad-billed Roller seen that is a very good report for near Nairobi area. My first report of a Broad-billed Roller in Nairobi area was at the museum grounds many years ago.

Yesterday 15th pot-luck we had two invition to Isinya and Masai lodge and so i attended that of Masai lodge.

Among other birds spoted were:Broad-billed Roller,White-bellied Canary,blue-naped Mousebird,African Hoopoe,African Green-Pigeon,Spotted Morning Thrush,White-browed Scrub-Robin,Hildebrant's Starling,Spot-Flanked Barbet,White-bellied Canary,Red-Faced Crombec,Long-Tailed Fiscal,Red Fronted Barbet,Speckle-Fronted Weaver and Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove
