Dear Birders,

I happened to visit Lake Oloidien and found a lone Heuglin's Gull on 19 April 2011. Earlier on (6th Apr.'11), I was in Buyangu, Kakamega Forest where I recorded a Red-capped Robin-Chat, Copper Sunbird, Jameson's Wattle-eye and a Green-backed Twinspot. An Abyssinian Ground Thrush was also reported to me at Uaso Narok Forest, Nyahururu by a member of Nyahururu Bird Club bringing the c.1,970 ha forest's list to 162 species!
