Migrants arriving in Nairobi Greetings

Birding continues to be rewarding in Nairobi. Today 13 October Nature Kenya's Wednesday Morning Birdwalk visited the Racecourse at the edge of the Ngong Road Forest Sanctuary. Migrants included Common (Steppe) Buzzard, Green and Common Sandpipers, Eurasian Bee-eaters, a pair of magnificent Eurasian Golden Orioles, Blackcap and Willow Warbler.

And in the afternoon, a European Honey Buzzard sailed rapidly above my house.
