Subject: A little help searching for a few specialities

Dear Kenyan netters,

After a four weeks holiday in Tanzania I will be with a couple of friends in the Naivasha area for a few days.

In these few days I would like to get hold on a few species I mist on my previous visits.

Actually only three species are my most favourites (along with a load of others I mist…):

-          Sharpes Longclaw

-          Aberdare Cisticola

-          Grey-Crested Helmet-Shrike

Reading some of the trips reports, the three areas I find are:

-          Kinangop Plateau (anyone more precise details of location or directions?)

-          Aberdare Mountains (what is the best area for the cisticola? Is African Green Ibis possible in the national park?)

-          Crater Lake

Further more I was thinking of a possible daytrip for finding gems such as Hindes babbler and Mackinders Eagle-Owl?

Anyone could locations for those species? (African Long-Eared Owl isn’t seen for a while in Kenya, right???).

Thanks!

And with kind regards,
