I saw two Magpie Starlings yesterday on Mpala Farm. This is the first
time that I have seen this species so far west. On another occasion we
got them on our side of the river (east of Mpala 7 km) but we see them
regularly down in the lower country around the Sinyai Lugga (feeds into
Kipsing). Several weeks ago we had two Golden-breasted Starlings on
the Ewaso Nyiro as well. This was also quite far west for those guys
who we also run into regularly in the lower lugga country to the east.
