Crowned hornbill – nesting in an Acacia tree near the house

Speckled pigeons

Ring-necked dove

Red-eyed dove

Speckled mousebird

Barn swallows – 20-30 were regularly perched on the powerlines

Eurasian bee-eaters – 10 or so were near the barn swallows on the powerlines

Lilac-breasted roller – first time seen at the farm

African pied wagtail

Bulbul

Blue-eared starlings

White-eyed slaty flycatcher

African blue flycatcher – resident, seen every year

Southern(?) black flycatcher

Brown babblers – seem to be regular visitors over the past two years

African thrush

Tawny-flanked prinia

Yellow white-eye

Bronze sunbird

Scarlet-chested sunbird

Baglafecht’s weaver

Red-cheeked cordon bleu

Red-billed firefinch

Bronze manikin

Red-rumped swallow

African crowned eagle – immature, first time seen at the farm
