Further to Brian's remarks re NNP 13 November:

an African Penduline-Tit. My first in the Park, but there is a historical Van Someren record from about forty years ago.

I ringed and photographed one Grey Penduline Tit (formerly African Penduline Tit!) at the KMC Athi River pools 3 km east of NNP on 13 April 1971. Jackson (1938) also records it from Athi River and Harvey (1997) lists it for the park itself as Rare, but gives no details.
