Johan and myself went to Kieni forest for an early birdwatching. You will find hereunder the list of the species seen. The weather was sunny and birds were really active.

Augur Buzzard, African Harrier-Hawk, Long-crested Eagle, Speckled Pigeon, Olive Pigeon, Hartlaub's Turaco, Black Sawwing, Crowned Hornbill, Silvery-cheecked Hornbill, Yellow-rumped Tinkerbird, Mountain Greenbul, Yellow-whiskered Greenbul, Cabanis's Greenbul, Waller's Starling, Montane Oriole, Tropical Boubou, Black-fronted Bushshrike, Chinspot Batis, White-eyed Slaty-Flycatcher, African Dusky Flycatcher, African Paradise Flycatcher, African Hill-Babbler, Common Stonechat, White-starred Robin, Brown Woodland Warbler, Hunter's Cisticola, Grey Apalis, Black-throated Apalis, Montane White-eye, White-browed Crombec, White-bellied Tit, Northern Double-collared Sunbird, Eastern Double-collared Sunbird, Brown-capped Weaver, Black-headed Waxbill, Yellow-bellied Waxbill, Bronze Mannikin, Grey-headed Negrofinch and Thick-billed Seedeater.
