this is extremely important and can lead to some very interesting data sets.

please all of you out there, note for any Eurasian migrant the date, locality (preferably with a lon/ lat) and numbers.
Itai
I'd rather go birding...

This is early but it does remind me that... I have to remind everyone that ......

PLEASE let us have day dates for migrants, the first records are not really as important as the first "numbers" but let's have them ALL.

In particular can we target EVERY record of Eurasian Bee-eater.

There are now email groups for Tz, Ke, Rw-Bu, Zam & Malawi and of course South Africa (need to get Ug & Et organised).

If we are all out there adding to these movement dates it will be a most interesting picture and of course great Atlas data, esp if sightings are georeferenced.

If you do not have a GPS just send us a good discription of the locality, name of village, name of lake, locality in park etc.

This could be great fun, esp if you all participate.

Neil

Visiting birder, Bruce Cohen told me of 3 white storks he saw flying over whilst travelling on the Kigali/Nyamata road. This was confirmed by his driver/guide of JK Safaris.

Any other sightings of white storks?

Cheers

Marcell
