Hi all,on sunday the 26th,jul,09 we went for atrip to ruma nat. Park in south nyanza and the birds we saw are as follows:Bare faced go_awaybird,silver bird,common drongo,helmeted guineafowl,hilderbrandt's francolin,superb starlin,wht browed coucal,madagascar bee eater,tawny flanked prinia,siffling cisticola,ruppell's longtailed starlin,black shoulderd kite,red cheeked cordonbleu,purple grenadier,brown parrot,beautiful sunbird,ring necked dove,laughing dove,namaqua dove,lillac breasted rollers,tawny eagle. from ruma nat. Park we went to L.victoria safari village and there was: paradise flycatcher,spectacled weaver,purple granedier,water thick- knee,common bulbul,scarlet chested sunbird,longtailed comorant,greater comorant,little egret,pied kingfisher,grey capped warbler,white browed robin chat, slaty coloured boubou,white browed coucal,redfaced crombec,grey backed camaroptera,ring necked dove,little egret,african fish eagle,black kite,and at
 rusinga island lodge though time was short we saw:long tailed commorant,pied kingfisher,pigmy kingfisher,crowned plover,african dusky flycatcher, No white fronted sandplover though and to crown our outing,the grand finale was spotted thick knee near the airstrip runaway,at the lodge cheers moses khazalwa
