Greetings birders
The Friends of Kinangop Plateau hosted Nature Kenya's Sunday Birdwatch to a delightful day on the Kinangop Plateau on Sunday 15 February.
Highlights included several Sharpe’s Longclaw, about 20 Abdim’s Storks landing where a tractor was ploughing a field, a Red-throated Wryneck at the Nature Kenya – Friends of Kinangop Plateau eco-resource centre near Murungaru, and a Pallid Harrier sitting in a tree (and confusing us!) at ‘Trees’.
