For anyone who might see a Crab-plover - have a good look for colour-rings... We also ringed c.30 last year with green and blue rings inscribed with white letters. It would be interesting to know which ones have made it back this year.

We have just returned from an expedition to Oman. Here we ringed approximately 2500 birds. The majority of the Crab Plovers we caught were colour ringed using orange and white rings with black codes. See the attachment for an example.
