Nairobi forests Greetings birders

Nature Kenya’s Wednesday Morning Birdwalk has been visiting local forest patches during this hot dry weather.  On March 5 in Karura Forest, birders recorded Brown-chested Alethe, Grey-olive Greenbul, African Black Duck and several Narina Trogons.

Today off Tree Lane in Karen, sharp-eyed observers found a Grey Cuckoo-shrike (as well as a Black Cuckoo-shrike) and an African Cuckoo Hawk that posed obligingly for the whole large group.

Wishing you good birding, Fleur
