Subject: Paradise Whydahs at Sagala Lodge (Voi)
Dear All
On a recent Succulenta trip to Sagala Lodge (to
look for succulents!) we were amazed to discover in several acacia trees in the
grounds of the lodge about 4O plus Paradise Whydahs in their breeding plumage as
well as several Straw-Tailed and Steel-Blue Whydahs; an incredible sight.
Sagala Lodge was a very good birding stop ..maybe
due to the unseasonal rain in the
area
Best wishes and good birding
Karen Plumbe
