Waterbirds
Greetings birders
Abdim’s Storks right in Nairobi, in a flooded field before Githurai roundabout, on May 8.
On May 9, Nature Kenya’s Wednesday Morning Birdwalk visited wetlands in Limuru and Kikuyu, despite overcast skies. A few Maccoa and White-backed Ducks at Manguo Ponds, and many Red-knobbed Coots with nests and juveniles (also a small flock of Barn Swallows). A few late Wood Sandpiper and Ruff at the Limuru sewage pools.
Wishing you good birding, Fleur
