Subject: WBF 2006 Trip.

Hello Birders,

 

Well, i just did my World Bird Festive 2006 trip to L.Naivasha and L.Oloidien. Lots of Palaearctic migrants were seen from Steppe Eagles to Little Stints.

 

Our first stop was at KWS Hippo Camp, L.Naivasha and saw birds like:-

 Eurasian Roller - 1

 Common Rock Thrush - 1.

 Eurasian Golden Oriole - 2 {Pair}.

 Yellow-bellied Eremomela - 1.

 Pallied Harrier - 1.

 Eurasian Marsh Harrier - 1.

 Black-tailed Godwit - 1.

 Lesser Black-backed Gull - 4.

 

The next stop was at L.Oloidien and saw birds like:-

Maccoa Duck - 33. I have never seen a large flock of Maccoa Ducks in an area like that.

Black-necked Grebe - 1.
