On 4th Sept, when surveying the Blue Swallow in Busia,
Onesmus Kioko and I saw three Brown-chested Plovers on
grasslands at the sides of Lelekwe river in the Sikoma
area. This was an exciting sighting of this species,
which is vagrant to Kenya.
