Some interesting April Masai Mara Records

12th: Marsh Harrier 1 female
          Steppe Eagle  several
          Collared Pratincole 1 (Strangely does not appear on any Mara list)
15th: Lesser Grey Shrike 1 in beautiful plumage
16th: Eleonora's Falcon 2
19th: White Storks  20+
20th: Lesser Grey Shrike,1 could be the same individual as on the 15th
22nd: Open-billed Storks  100s arrived with the rains
          European Hobby 1
          Barn Swallows 1,000 roosting in trees
24th:  European Bee-eaters small numbers passing through
25th: Lesser Kestrel 2
27th: Lizard Buzzard 1
29th: Yellow Wagtail 1
30th: Yellow Wagtail 1 (a different individual)

Bat Hawk 1 seen from time to time at Little Governors' Camp also at the BBC 
Big Cat Dairy Camp nearby.
Long-toed Plover 1 resident in Musiara Swamp
House Sparrows  a number breeding at Governors' Camp
