In response to Fleur's interesting obs, just for the record, I saw c. 
20 Collared Pratincoles at the Vet Dept, N shore of L Naivasha on 6 
March 1966, c, 5 there 13 March 66, c. 30 there 22 Jan 67 and singles 
at a nearby Naivasha site on 1 and 11 Jan 1970.
