Records from Nature Kenya outings:

African Marsh Harrier, tentative Shikra, 40+ Grey Crowned Cranes, Long-toed
Plover at Sukari Dam, Waunyomu Ngeke Ranch, Gicheha Farms, Ruiru, on Nature Kenya's Sunday Birdwatch, 18 August 2002.  

A few kilometres further east, in thick grassland on black cotton soil,
Pangani Longclaw and an early Barn Swallow in a mixed flock of African Palm Swift and Plain Martins.

In the Arboretum on the Wednesday Morning Birdwalk, 14 August 2002, Female
Variable Sundbird with two colour rings, orange and blue.
